Few months later after that issue has published, it's disappeared quickly. Unfortunately,Indonesian Parliament still reviewed that new building plan while Indonesian people were facing many problems, and as the final they launched their new building design .
Here it is, our new parliament building ( biggest building in that complex ) which stand behind the old.
That new building costs around Rp.1,6 T.Which every member of Indonesian Parliament will get 120 meters square for their own office area. An outstanding issue said that building has recreation level /place at the top of building. Indonesian Parliament representative said that recreation place is used to accommodate Indonesian Parliament Members to optimize their work, for members to take a rest if they can't go home after meeting. That's a good point I think, but I have never heard about good performance,from them and absolutely I don't believe it!
1,6 T Rupiahs to optimize their performance is irrational and sounds strange.
Rp 1,6 Trillion is same as for Jamkesmas ( Health Social Security ) which located for 22 millions people below poverty line.
Rp 1,6 T is same as budget to build 12000 new school building.
Why our parliament members can't realize that we aren't wealth enough for this time. Many Indonesian people must go to work hardly to continue their life. Many kids live without any social security, without education, without happiness and their rights has been violated.
Many roads outside Java Island have broken, and it caused problems for logistic movement to remote areas. Indonesian people have to face bad infrastructure,and uncomfortable public facilities. Why don't Indonesian Parliament discuss and fix all about it? I think that's not hard, because parliament from another countries are really effective to represent their public opinion to executive.
Dear Parliament Members, I hope you can use your logic to think what the highest priority for Indonesian is, don't make us so angry to you. We're upset with your performance, and sometimes I think High School students or University students are smarter and wiser than you to manage something. I hope what I expected ( students are smarter and wiser ) won't be a reality.
